Voximetry positions for growth with hiring of Chief Operating Officer Dr. Abhi Chakrabarti

MADISON, Wis.– Voximetry Inc., a Healthtech company with software designed to change the Standard of Care for late-stage prostate cancer patients by creating personalized treatment plans tailored for the individual, has announced the appointment of Dr. Abhimanyu Chakrabarti as Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Chakrabarti has over 25 years of global development and commercial leadership experience with Treatment Planning software applications for radiation-based treatments including conventional External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) and MR-LINAC.

Dr. Chakrabarti has over 25 years of global development and commercial leadership experience. His most recent position was leading global business development for treatment planning software applications at Elekta, a $23B global leader of precision External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) products. Prior to this role Dr. Chakrabarti was responsible for strategic Product Management of EBRT Treatment Management Software Applications, including a break-through innovation commercial launch of MR-Linac online adaptive treatment planning. Prior to Elekta he spent 13 years with Philips Healthcare leading global sales and marketing of Treatment Planning and multi-modality Oncology Imaging.

Born in India and a citizen of the UK, Dr. Chakrabarti holds a Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a PhD in Numerical Modelling of semiconductors from the University of East Anglia in the UK.

He has lived in 5 countries and is fluent in 5 languages.
